Suzi Quatro & Chris Norman - Stumblin' In

Chorus:
Our love is alive and so we begin
Foolishly layin' our hearts on the table,
stumblin' in
Our love is a flame burnin' within
Now and then fire light will catch us,
stumblin' in

Chris:
Wherever you go, whatever you do
You know these reckless thoughts of mine
are followin' you

Suzi:
I've fallen for you, whatever you do
'Cause baby you've shown me so many things
that I never knew
Whatever it takes, baby, I'll do it for you

Chorus

Chris:
You were so young, ah, but I was so free

Suzi:
I may have been young but baby, that's not
what I wanted to be

Chris:
Well you were the one

Suzi:
Oh why was it me?

Chris:
'Cause baby you've shown me so many things
that I'd never seen
Whatever you need, baby, you got it from me

Chorus

  1. Nowadays this song is still. popular even though it is an old one. Besides it is easy to understand what they are singing about because the words are clear and simple. But even though the words are easy to understand this song has a deep sense because it is about love. If it is a true love you will be everywhere with your lover no matter how far you are you are in his or her thoughts. And if you love and something has happened and you've quarreled the fire in your hearts will burn again. I really like this song because the singers not just sing they feel the song.

  2. This song is really very popular. I heard it in several films. And it fits them very well. In my opinion the song should be in every romantic film, especially if it has a happy ending. This song shows what the real love is. Yes, people can make mistakes and loose their minds when they are in love but it proves that this feeling is the strongest one.

  3. Not long ago I heard this song in the film 'Groupies bleiben nicht zum Frühstück'. It may seem strange, everybody tends to sing songs in English. I don't remember what prompted me to see this film as I'm not a lover of such kind of films, but it stirred up a memory of Chris Norman. So, I decided to share my mood with you.

    1. I know this film! I agree that it was strange to hear this song in a German film. But I like the way they sing it. Of course, not better than the original version but it was a good try.
