The dystopian
novel Lord of the Flies was published in 1954 by English author William
Golding. Though it found little popularity initially, the story about a group
of boys trapped on a deserted island eventually found commercial success and
quickly became part of the curriculum of high schools worldwide.
Watch the film Lord of the Flies. Choose the screen vertion of 1963, 1990 or both. You will surely like it.
